In Norway, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. I was having a cold, and my throat was not the best, so during the night I almost lost my voice entirely.
- 10:30: Got up, showered and put on the nicest clothes for Christmas morning:
- PJ pants (red), fuzzy socks, slippers, sweater and a Santa hat
- 11:00: Tři oříšky pro Popelku (Three Wishes for Cinderella)
- Two robins visited the tree right outside our living room, playing around for a good while
- Breakfast: homemade "sylte" on "lefse" (traditional Norwegian Christmas food)
- 12:30: Reisen til Julestjernen
- 13:55: From All of Us to All of You (Christmas cartoons from Disney)
- 15:00: Put on my dress and make-up
- 15:40: Watched the last episode of The Julekalender (advent calendar TV show)
- 16:00: Sosializing with mom
- 17:00: "Sølvguttene" sings the Christmas in
- 17:20: Traditional Norwegian Christmas dinner
- 18:00: Opening presents
- Watching the dog play with cardboard boxes and the cat enjoying her Christmas treat
- 19:00: Relaxing, my dad retreats to his room
- 19:30: Starting a game of Stone Age, board game which I gave as a present to my mom/family
- 23:00: Done playing, concidered reatreating to my room
- 23:30: Watching Beat for Beat, Christmas edition while reading a book about growing up in the '90s and chatting with my mom
- 00:30: Reatreated to my room, watched two episodes of Cougar Town and chatted a while on msn
- 02:00: Went to bed
