First of all: my favorite genres are drama and horror movies.

The following are my favorite sub-genres, or maybe I should call it guilty pleasures? Alphabetically sorted because I'm a nerd.

• Christmas movies (e.g. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation)
• Dance flicks (e.g. Save the Last Dance)
• Drug addict movies (e.g. Requiem for a Dream)
• Family fantasy (e.g. Neverending story)
• Gay romance (e.g. Shelter)
• Gay tragedy (e.g Brokeback Mountain)
• Natural disaster movies (e.g. The Day After Tomorrow)
• Teen romance (e.g. She's All That)
• Vampire romance (e.g. Twilight)
• Virus (e.g. Outbreak)
• Zombie (e.g. Dawn of the Dead)

This is why I'm usually having a hard time recommending movies to people; I watch weird movies!
