- There are fires all over the freaking state. The air smells like a campfire, and breathing kind of sucks right now. I feel like I have smoked an entire carton of cigarettes.
- We have tremors all the time, constant shaking... The news are persistently reminding us how we are on a fault line and how at any second I might die, being crushed to death by something, due to the worlds most horrific earthquake.
- Which apparently can happen at any second in the next 20 years.
- Landslides happen all over during winter, things just slide down hills... the fires in the summer kill the vegetation and the land just slides when it rains because there is nothing to hold it together... yep million dollar houses just slide down hills...
- Smog and pollution is pretty brutal. We will all die from lung disease.
- Heat in the central valley in the summer is INTENSE. People die from heat stoke, and practically bake in their own living rooms.
- There were 6 murders in San Francisco last weekend,( i don't actually think that it is that many, considering that in Puerto Rico that’s a good weekend and all). Which makes everyone slightly paranoid and cops more likely to shoot you.
- Cops are vicious, pull you over for really ridiculous shit, and shoot you, often.
- Hippies walk around barefoot in the nastiness that is the Streets of Berkeley & San Francisco...seriously that a hepatitis outbreak waiting to happen.
- The state is SUPER SEGREGATED! California has some of the worst racial tension of any place I have visited. People’s obsession with "political correctness" just accentuates the problem. It wouldn't surprise me to have huge race riots at any point, anywhere in this state.
- Republicans. This state is full or CRAZY fucked up republicans (Bay area and parts of LA are not republican...but the Valley is one scary redneck infested place). The racist, elitist, anti-immigration kind. The kind that burn crosses...I guess that goes right back to the racism-racial tension issue.
- Immigrants may rebel at any second and kill us all & take over California.
- I say some people kind of deserve it too, considering how we owe mexican laborers so much.
- The quality of life we have we owe to them.
- The fact that California has the 5th largest economy in the world was built of the backs of immigrant we treat like complete shit.
- People drive at 80 miles an hour at all times.
- When it rains, it’s like no one can remember how tor drive safely...they turn to complete idiots.
- I also blame California for all my wrinkles...I had none when i first moved here.
