Rye Harvey has only been on my list for a few days but I am head over hills. I had been taking a break from names for a few months, basically starting fresh. I was going through list after list looking for something that struck my fancy and boy did I find it!

Rye is sometimes thought of as symbolic of renewal and resilience due to it's being a quick growing grain with exceptional winter hardiness. I think of the golden fields of rye flowing in the wind. It's comforting.

Harvey has also only been on the list for a few days but there's something about it with Rye that feels natural and at ease. It is solid but also lively at the same time.

As for sibling names, I think something like August or Hazel would complement Rye beautifully. They evoke that natural, earthy vibe that I adore.
