Una is an Irish name possibly derived from uan meaning "lamb". It can also be related to the Latin una meaning "one".

Una feels strong yet still delicate. I appreciate the interesting shape of it and uncommon initial 'U'. It hints at maximalism though it is a bit more minimalist. As for the imagery I get from it, it makes me think of sun-warmed laundry, ceramic jugs, and little lambs with their tails wagging.

I have a preference for the name to be paired with something a bit more unexpected but still classic.
