- august 1st, 2015: day 3 in chicago // woke up and found out that the weather would be bad on monday so moved the beach cookout to today // immediately got up and went to jewel-osco with sarah and my mom for groceries // got everything packed up and headed to the beach // swam a little, sat a little, made friends with about 20 sea gulls // it amazes me how fast one sea gull can choke an entire veggie straw down it's throat // also the dragonflies eat each other // walked with sarah frankie and my mom to cvs and the apartment to get drinks and to change // back to the beach to eat various salads and grilled vegetables // threw the football, took some pictures, and back to the apartment // discovered two things today: we're staying another day in chicago and i would certainly live here
