• 2017 - i remember this photo very well because someone asked me for a CSS themed blog of them. and i was like "tf is stray kids?" and then was like "oh it's a jyp boygroup ok". i get confused if it was 2017 or 2018 but i think 2017 because by 2018 i didn't engage with CSS/HTML anymore. and i think they were in their VERY early days because i remember not finding their logo in a good resolution so i had to use xtreem font as a replacement for the logo.
• 2019 - i VAGUELY remember hearing about woojin's departure but i wasn't aware of all the drama because i guess at the same time ex-day6 member jae was under fire for controversial remarks. moving forward, found it in my youtube history, i watched this jyp nation stage when it was released but to be honest i don't remember a thing BUT jaebum in 거짓말. and this is strange because ok i wasn't a got7 fan anymore in 2019 BUT? okay then. and fun fact: i've seen a chaeyoung edit of this performance but i didn't know where it was from and would NEVER know han and changbin were there too LMAO sorry. ALSO i VAGUELY remember kcon thailand 3racha x hongjoong x soyeon, i watched it because soyeon is my girlie so i guess i completed erased the others presence because i was watching it for her.
• 2020 - i remember reading "god's menu" as a boygroup title track that was trending at the moment but not in a million years i would associate it with "stray kids". i even remember commenting on groupchat "oh that god's menu song is really trendy isn't it" - i could remember the title track name but not the song or the group idk man "god's menu" just sounded dope to me. i don't remember watching the mv BUT i remember watching the dance practice because a lot of dance tutorials would pop on my youtube feed! and when i watched the dance practice i thought "wtf is this noise" LMAO and i immediately turned it off as soon as felix's deep voice came in (i had to breathe for a sec. but i finished watching it). and i even thought leeknow was a foreigner because he had ZERO lines. also for some reason my brain could NOT, for the life of it, associate stray kids with jyp so i thought "oh they're a rookie group!!!"............... dumbass
• 2021 - thunderous dance practice would pop in my youtube feed every 2-3 business days. i watched it and was like "ohhh jyp??? who is this new group???" (PARDON ME). i can attest i did not watch it until the end AGAIN because of felix's deep voice. he scared the shit out of me with that voice all due respect. i heard felix's name every now and then because he is friends with a lot of people in the industry so i just knew he was a cool sweet guy !! SO MY BRAIN WOULDN'T PROCESS PERSONALITY AND VOICE. and no i did not associate felix with stray kids for me they were separate things idk sorry. also found in my youtube history and APPARENTLY I WATCHED THIS HAN FANCAM?????.............. he could be walking down the street i wouldn't know a thing sorry to this man
• 2022 - again VAGUELY remember watching some tiktok videos back in december and "feliz navidad"......... i don't know which trauma block my brain had with stray kids but i just second doubted everything abt this song. "is this felix voice? no i don't think so. i mean this really sound like him though? but why is he singing in spanish...... i don't think it's felix oh what is this? STRAY KIDS? who is stray kids?" WHICH IS FUNNY because my friend is a stray kids fan (the first i've ever met in my life) and occasionally i'd hear her and our other friend talking about them and was like..... what. i especially remember she commenting about the "abcdefg i wanna send my code to you" because bang chan totally skipped H but again, if you ask.... no i did not know what case 143 was. i hEARD "why do i keep getting attracted" and was like "ooh!! felix!! hi!!" but what is a stray kid even

and no even though i watched god's menu and thunderous dance practice i absolutely did not remember these songs. they could be playing at a speaker in max volume and i'd be like "what is this". and no i didn't know about their popularity as a noisy group. i did think it was a bit noisy but somehow not noisy enough to be stuck in my brain idk what sort of trauma block was that bc i remember watching the thunderous dance practice for a whole week during pandemic times. idk what covid did to my brain but not making me remember who stray kids were was a coping mechanism probably LMAOOOO

i knew kpop had guys named lee know and i.n. but i didn't know which group they were from <3 i knew kpop had a guy called hyunjin but i was like well i only know loona hyunjin <3 i knew felix is a social butterfly <3 i heard bang chan's name every now and then but was like who tf is this guy <3 and then had to search EVERY SINGLE TIME and still couldn't remember him as a stray kids member or what was stray kids at all <3
