• I'm doing my best to improve on my actions, after having conducted preliminary research on relationships. If my findings are insufficient, I'll do my best to improve. But I can't do that if you don't tell me what you're discontent about.
  • Ridiculous. [...] Talk to me after you get 100% on your next text. I couldn't possibly stand dating an idiot. [...] Then prove you aren't one. If you take your classes seriously, I'll consider going on a date with you.
  • ...When I asked you to go out with me, I only said vaguely that I think I like you. At that time, I even believed that those feelings might have simply been some sort of misunderstanding. All we did was argue, after all. I couldn't find any reason why I would have romantic feelings for you. But I have to admit now, these feelings can't be anything besides romantic emotions.
  • There's no special reason why our relationship was so rocky. I anger people fairly easily, so it was normal for people to dislike me.
  • (You said yourself before that love is just something created by chemicals in the brain.) I did. And I still believe that now. (Then why...?!) What's wrong with delusions? At present, there are changes commonly known as love occuring in my brain. That's the truth. And I'm interested in these changes. I want to analyze whether this really is a romantic emotion or not, and if it is, exactly what changes will occur. [...] I believe romantic rmotions are merely a product of intracerebral chemicals, a part of one's instinct to preserve its species. However, you say that love doesn't need go have such a reason. If, as you say, the emotion known as love is a higher power beyond such reason and calculation, I'd like you to make me believe it. If you manage to prove go me that you are correct, I promise go hold your emotional arguments in higher regard I don't see any drawbacks to this proposition on your part.
