• Sometimes I have this intense desire to write something but I just don't know what to write.
  • I guess anything is better than nothing?
  • What am I even doing?
  • They say when you have writer's block that you should just keep writing until something comes to you, like an endless train of thought that leads into an idea.
  • What they don't tell you is the brick wall you're likely to hit when doing so.
  • Blah blah fuckity blah blah fuckity blah [insert exasperated noises here]
  • Typing type type type
  • Okay, this is ridiculous... maybe I should just quit and forget about it.
  • But wait, what if inspiration suddenly strikes me and I'm doing something else?
  • I have a meeting in less than 15 minutes and I'm sitting here trying to write something. Ha! How laughable.
  • I'm sure there are other people in the world who are writing easily and effortlessly without even a single block to stumble upon.
  • (Sigh) It's raining outside. It's perfect writing weather if there is in fact such a thing.
  • I'm going to text someone. Anyone. Maybe that will start something.
  • In reality I know it's just a distraction method.
  • Okay... then what's next?
  • Nothing, just absolutely nothing. It's all blank up there.
  • Then just take a break and watch the rain for a bit.
  • Sounds good. I know I'll be back here in a hour doing this same old song and dance.
  • Yeah but you do what you can do and that's all you can do.
