November has been the coolest month ever this year! Well, I mean, I feel like I'm really struggling at work and I'm so embarrassed all the time when it comes to it, but we finally have two holidays this month after not having any holidays since July. And I got an extra 'PTO' day.

On the 2nd, I went to A Noite dos Sonhos with Gabi and her friend Anna and, although I feel like I didn't enjoy the event that day, after spending ~R$600 on it, because I didn't do anything but drink a shit ton of Cosmos and sitting around with Gabi and Anna, I really enjoyed seeing Gabi and having the chance to talk with her while playing dress up. It was also really nice "waltzing" (in quotes because it was definitely not proper waltz) with her twice. We got really cute photos of us dancing taken!

On the 8th, I went to a late Halloween party with Kah at FFLCH, after my weekly choir rehearsal at USP. I didn't dress up as anything in particular because I don't have any costumes (I'm waiting to see when I'll actually start pursuing my desire to be a cosplayer el oh el), so I just dressed in all black, did my make up and brought a prop dagger with me. It was so fun!!! I love Kah so much and I had the time of my life despite not doing anything out of the ordinary that day. Just being able to hang out with her was a blast. We stayed there until 5am on Sat. and at one point we sat in the ground, she slept on my lap whilst I slept sitting up and gripping a popcorn bag so no one would steal it lol. Unfortunately my mom is really uptight about bringing people over so I wasn't able to invite her here, but she said by the end of it she was really tired and wanted to sleep in her bed so I guess it's ok.

On the 16th, I went to A Noite dos Sonhos AGAIN. Was the price worth it, even with a discount? I don't know... But I guess I can't ask for a lower price than what they offered considering they're just starting this. Maybe in a few years the price will become cheaper. Nonetheless, I had SO MUCH more fun this time around. Don't get me wrong, I had a good time on the first day, but I got so much more out of the second. I participated in all the activities set up on the second floor (well, I didn't sword fight on the Fourht Wing station, but I watched it. I had thin high heels and a dress I was stepping on on so I think I would've tripped over my face had I participated in that one). I got a bit sad that I didn't get the prize for the Caraval station but that's lyfe. On the Heartless station, I fucked up my "cupcake" (it was just a bolinho ana maria bfr) but the Jest cosplayer was so cute it was all worth it. And then there was the station with the characters that I think are OCs for A Noite dos Sonhos, Nymeria, Dante and a Bruxa. I had a tarot reading with Nymeria and I can only hope that that tarot was telling the truth 'cause!!!!!!!!!! And I didn't get as emotional as other people with my reading from the Bruxa, who made a few questions to determine your element, but the cosplayer was super cute I think I was blushing a little. Also little random fact but Jest was in front of me at the drink table at the beginning of the night and he randomly turned twice just to offer me a smile and then turned back to his friends and it was just so cute lmao what the hell... Andy te amamos! I was alone and awkward until like idk 1am when I made friends on the line to the tarot reading and then we spent the rest of the night taking photos, it was so fun! The only thing I regret not doing this day was asking for a dance from the Somnia Vera prince, but I guess that if I did I'd get embarrassed by myself later so there was really no way of me to win in this situation. We ended the night dancing funk on the dance floor like the good brazilians we are (although out of my friend group I'd say I was the most excited about it, which is weird because I don't usually dance like this).

Now, I'm writing this on the 19th and I'm feeling hungover from the event. I'm hoping I'll be able to be one of the official cosplayers on some next book ball, it can be A Noite dos Sonhos or another one, I don't know, but I really really want it. I hope writing this down will help me manifest it, who knows. If it does happen I hope I remember this so I can come back and write an update. Bye bye for now!
