• get a pet from the pound not a pet store (when the time comes)
• adopt a child (when the time comes)
• be a role model for people
• get involved in the community
• donate food to a food drive
• donate old clothes and shoes to a clothing drive
• join americorps for a time
• possibly join the peace corps
• use solar energy
• use a recyclable water bottle no plastic bottles
• don't use styrofoam
• use energy efficient lights
• instead of using a heater, use more clothes and blankets
