it's been one hell of a year, folks

• spent six weeks exploring and absolutely falling in love with England
• voted in my first presidential election
• went to Hogwarts twice
• fell in love with musical theatre and William Faulkner
• rediscovered my love for writing lengthy AU fanfiction
• learned that I am capable of doing things on my own
• found peace in quiet train rides through the English countryside
• frolicked through a meadow
• learned that an animal shelter is not a place I should go unless I have the money to adopt all the dogs
• got back into the swing of reading again
• climbed to the top of a cathedral in a storm
• dangled my feet over the edge of a nation
• hid myself away in the nooks and crannies of a castle
• wholeheartedly accepted my introversion
• completed a reread of the Harry Potter series
• mourned the loss of Carrie Fisher, Prince, Alan Rickman, David Bowie, George Michael, and far too many others
