- you love the teens so much!! They warm your heart.

- you'll get better the more you practice! After 10,000 hours you'll be the Beatles of youth ministry.
- what other job lets you go to Mass on the daily??
- the teens. Seriously. All they need is attention! And you love them!
- remember that one teen who said, "low-key I wish you were here two years ago when I got confirmed..."
- remember those middle schoolers who were all excited to be confirmed and said they were glad they were doing it and that it wasn't their parents making them? Such warm. Many feels.
- remember that time you gave it all to God and he totally took care of it? And he was all like "hey check out the moon tonight!"
- remember when you went to WYD and spent all day with teens and got to know them?
- You get to introduce these teens to your best friend, JESUS!! What is cooler than that? slash more important
- You just keep getting better and better at your job the more you experience and learn!
- You realize a holy hour with Jesus before TYM goes a long way.
- You can stick to the plan, don't worry!
- Where else can you make people do stupid things and call it an icebreaker?
- getting asked to write letters of recommendation!
- getting to plan events!

- But seriously, all the teens who went on REVERSE retreat... such sweet sweet young people!
- But affirmation letters like the one Kat gave you? How could you ever quit.
- Getting to make teens play stupid/silly/fun games like cereal toss or baking cookies with no utensils or deserted island!
- Getting to be a part of seminarians' formation? Heck yeah!
- Core team bonding.
- praying over people!! And praying in general. And praying all the time!
