  • 2018 Castello di Neive Barbaresco DOCG, Nebbiolo, Piemonte, Italy - Cherry, red fruit, shroomy petrichor, leather, oak tar, sweet cedar, dried violets, potpourri, graphite, clay pot, cigar box
  • 2021 Maison no.9 Rosé, Grenache, FR - Fully just bought this bc of the package design. Gorgeous label. Wine was light and low acid, strawberry and raspberry, lightly nutty
  • Albino Armani Soave Incontro, Garganega, Veneto, Italy - total banger with white fish. Crisp apple, dry, delicate stony minerality, jasmine florals, honey, lemon.

February:

  • Wine Tasting @ Pine Lake Cellars - mostly meh, really fabulous Carmenere. S favorites: rosé and carmenere. Purchased carmenere.
  • 2020 Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé, Grenache, Côtes de Provence, FR - Light and dry. Strawberry and cherry, tea, light flinty minerality, balanced acidity. Drunk as shit off this one and ordered $200 worth of sex toys. Fucking rosé, dude.
  • 2021 Conscious Rosé, Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, OR - fabulous! fruity, juicy, tart watermelon, light minerality. Perfect, closest I've tasted to Maison Noir's Love Drunk Rosé. 10/10 would drink again.

  • 2021 Alamos Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina - bold, smooth, black fruit, jerky
  • 2020 Daou Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles, CA - leather, oak, pepper, bold tannins, currant, red fruit, sage, tobacco, vanilla. Drank w/ filet which was nice but tbh would be better with a fattier cut of meat.
  • nv Le Contesse Prosecco DOC, Glera, Veneto, Italy - literally the best prosecco I've ever had, crisp, lightly sweet, delicate, perfumed 1000/10. Drank at Brunello Ristorante Italiano on Roosevelt. Also had a fabulous rosé and great pasta.
