I don't get why people complain about Lau. It's not perfect, sure, but it's seriously close. What more could you want in a library? It's got a built in coffee shop, books, study places, and is open nearly 24/7.
- The caffeinated smell of Floor 2 with Midnight Mug
- The coziness of Midnight Mug
- The abundance of study spaces
- The sheer number of books and the vast amount of topics they are on
- The number of languages that these books are written in
- The fact that we get foreign newspapers
- Gelardin New Media center (not that I'm biased or anything) and how we rent out cameras and equipment and recording studios.
- The free classes on how to learn to do these things
- How close it is to where I live
- Checking out textbooks = saved money
- If you're studying there you generally get more work done. Fact.
