- chochmah represents god’s first creative activity, “the beginning” from which everything else derives. kabbalistically, wisdom is seen as pure undifferentiated mind, like the first unbounded flash of inspiration, appearing as whole, before it is differentiated and limited into individual thoughts and ideas. it is the level above all division, where everything is a simple unity, the level at which oneness exists. it is the non-space, non-time, undefinable source of all that is yet to be manifested.
