To wake up on the right side of the bed: Molly's original, Molly's adaptation of Nigella Lawson's, or this version by David Lebovitz To make use of the bounty: Zucchini Bread: These Three Recipes Done. I didn't notice a huge difference between the first two, even though the first one was LOADED with extra goodies. I think I'll kick up the ginger and the Ras el Hanout next time. Emeril's was crumbly, but that could be because I didn't let it cool enough. The last was much more dense than the first two. I also ended up stirring in some chocolate chips to encourage consumption. To achieve a goal: No Knead Bread (Sort of) done. I made the Cook's Illustrated version of this -- "Almost No-Knead Bread" -- and it was spectacular. The recipe is locked. Let me know if you want it. To use leftovers: Warm Gruyere Sandwich with Mustard and Thyme Made this with leftovers from the Almost No-Knead and it was quite, quite tasty although I overdid the thyme and underdid the mustard. To celebrate Autumn: Caramel Apples To warm: Veselka's Cabbage Soup To try again: Soft Pretzels
