For breakfast: Toasted Oats with Berries and Yogurt Hmmm... I almost set my oven on fire using his parchment-paper-under-the-broiler method. I eventually put the cooking sheet in the middle of the oven with the broiler on. Even that was too hot. I think I'll stick with granola from now on. Tasty combination, though.
For lunch: Early Summer Composed Salad Too late, I fear. Now I need an Early Fall Composed Salad to substitute.
To drink: Raspberry Limeade Slushy DONE! Made it and shared it with a good friend in Idaho. Sweet and tangy.
An appetizer, if the mood strikes: Feta Salsa DONE! But I used it as a condiment instead of as an appetizer. Needed a squeeze of lemon juice, but otherwise quite tasty.
Pasta from Giada: Pecorino-Proscuitto Spaghetti DONE!
Something Sweet: Buttermilk Cookies with Lemon Zest DONE! Except for using too much butter and not enough lemon zest, I liked them. My friends thought they were perfect as is, but I'd still like to do a little tweaking.
Something Fancy-ish: Margarita Cupcakes DONE! For Scotty's going-away dinner.
