  • mamamoo
    • only 4 members; known for incredible singing ability. they're one of the few groups who are involved in the production of their stages/albums, too. currently one of the top girl groups in the industry!!
    • their most recent song is you're the best
    • this hit medley saved lives
    • one time they wore raddish suits and danced in a raddish field for a performance bc they promised fans ("moomoos", which means raddish) they'd do that if they won on a music show, which they did
    • they also performed a single ladies + um oh ah yeah remix and it was beautiful
    • wheein and hwasa (short girl w/ power vocals and beyonce 2.0 with thick thighs and short hair) have known each other since middle schools and are best friends...i love them
  • gfriend
    • fairly new!! super talented--girl groups typically don't have very complicated dances, but gfriend's tend to be on the more difficult side. they're super super popular for their "innocent" image, and ALL their dances/songs are iconic. also, some of the members are younger than us.
    • their most recent song is rough but the reception wasn't as good as me gustas tu WHICH PISSES ME OFF BC ROUGH IS AMAZING
  • exid
    • they've been around a while, but have only recently risen to popularity. they literally went from being nobodies to crowing one of the most populated districts in korea bc of an impromptu performance in like, 6 months. they're really hot too.
    • their most recent song is lie but their most popular is hands down up and down
    • fun fact: exid were under fire when the lie mv came out bc of "sexual innuendos" in the imagery, but the director literally came out and said "innuendos? they're not fucking innuendos, they were on purpose" fave
