I just want to wander off and be happy. At this time, I am going through a life renaissance thing where I revisit my whole life sequentially. All this list making is sort of like cartography for my life. I realise I know so little about the world now and the future looks like I'm going to know even less. I think I am at least two people; the person who is so responsible, loyal, reasonable and prot...

I get that it's 2 days past Christmas but since there was so much going on (my 20th Birthday, trying to meet friends and ex boyfriends, watching movies on Tata Sky Plus...) I finally found some time today. So here goes:

  • A Volkswagen Jetta before May 2010.
  • Internship at Fox Searchlight Pictures for Summer 2010.
  • A new MacBook Pro.
  • More natural pictures with friends so I can finish making the project I took on - now that my photoshop skills are off the hook.
  • A British Accent. Kind of like the one Nigella Lawson has or maybe even Daisy Beaumont. I wouldn't mind looking like them either if that comes with the package.
  • Kareena Kapoor's hair in Jab we Met.
  • A super sexy boyfriend. Like Hugh Jackman in Kate and Leopold. Since I'm so much l...

  • Living away from your child. It must be so hard for my mom to live away from her daughter for almost 5 years now.
  • Getting your children to eat nutritious food.
  • Making sure they aren't being bullied in school.
  • Teaching kids that stealing is the worst of all crimes and punishing them severly when they find stolen goods in their kids' bags after they return from school. A classmate of mine from 3rd grade used to steal my dinosaur staedtler pencils all the time. I must have lost at least 20 of them and reprimanded by my mother before I realised she had been stealing them from me all this while. It was quite sad and I still remember her name was Rupanjali and I can never so much as look in her direction without being disgusted now.

  • Myself

"The world is filled with unlikely friendships. How do they begin? With one person desperately in need and the other, willing to lend a helping hand. When such kindness is offered, we are finally able to see the worth of those we had previously written off. And before we know it a bond has formed – regardless of whether others can understand it. Yes, unlikely friendships start up everyday. No one understands this more than the lonely. In fact, it’s what we count on."

In answering these questions, I am going to refer to India as my country.

  • Ignorance . If a cab driver sticks up a sign to use the other side of the door, people will purposely open the loose/malfunctioning door and then get annoyed at the cabbie.
  • Eve-teasing . I think it's a social problem and we aren't doing enough to punish those who make it miserable for women to walk on the street. And if you lose nerve when you're harassed on the street and react excessively, you only make matters worse for yourself by firing the enthusiasm of the jerk.
  • Tardiness . People are always late and nobody will respect your time unless you obtain enough power to punish those who are late. In general, dinner at 8 means dinner at 10:30 if you're lucky. Else we blame it on the traffic at Haji Ali.
  • Dust, pollution, dirt, humidity, garbage,...__Lack of discipline__ .
