• The Duck House (Vaudeville) - 4th January Matinee, Ben Miller was very funny, really great indictment of the expenses scandal. ****
  • The Duchess of Malfi (Globe - Sam Wanamaker Playhouse) - 6th February Matinee. I don't care for the play but this production was excellent, David Dawson and James Garnon were superb. Very much enjoyed the use of candles/darkness. ****
  • Urinetown (St James) - 1st March Matinee. Amazing! Brilliant set, really worked in the theatre. Really hilarious and stunningly sung. No real standouts as everyone was excellent. Run Freedom Run stopped the show and deservedly so. *****
  • Knight of the Burning Pestle (Globe - Sam Wanamaker Playhouse) - 21st March Evening. Hilarious! And so heartwarming. Absolutely made use of the space. *****
  • Much Ado About Nothing (Manchester) - 3rd May Matinee. Lovely production. Loved the song at the end (the life that is coming in the morning) and how it wasn't just the Beatrice and Benedick show. Gerald Kearns was so heartbreaking as Claudio. *****
  • In the Heights (Southwark Playhouse) - 24th May Matinee.
  • Blithe Spirit (Gielgud) - 24th May Evening.
  • Antony & Cleopatra (Globe) - 25th May Matinee.
  • A Midsummer's Nights Dream (Globe) - 7th June Matinee.
