12/14/18 Hello dear family, I know this list doesn't change much (look at the bottom of the list. I did add a few items.) but it does still list some of my favorite things. I'll try to add a bit more soon. I love you all. The joy of giving and receiving gifts has to do with the love motivating the giving and receiving. That's what is important. If you are stressed out about gift giving, let me know. I don't want that to happen. Let me help you. The stress puts a damper on things. Let's talk about it. Let's get our priorities straight. Mom is always hear to listen. (Keith: I'm talking to you too. I love you!)
- I love all the beautiful artwork, notes, poems, stories that are done just for me. These are very special.
- I also love any craft item done just for me. Handmade items are very nice.
- gloves
- book of coupons to do a chore of my choice, or go for a walk with me, or other type of activity.
- spiritual bouquet (a card that states that you promise to pray for me and make it specific: such as "I will offer a holy hour for you." Any prayer or sacrifice, of your choice
- Book: Msgr. Michael Witt, "Saint Louis: The Story of Catholic Evangelization of America's Heartland, From the Canoe to the Cathedral" published by The Miriam Press. (This is the first volume of the series) I saw it at Catholic Gifts and Books, 13397 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017, (314) 469-6700 (This little store is at the intersection of Olive and Hwy 141 (northwest corner), across the street from Incarnate Word Parish. If you go west on I-364 (Page Extension) and then south on Hwy 141 and then take the exit for Olive Blvd., you stay in the right exit lane and take the first right turn. The store is in a small shopping strip center. It's easy to get to. http://www.catholicgiftsandbooks.com/
11/17/18 I haven't checked to see if this book is still available at this store but I imagine it is.
