I love all of them, can't pick a favorite - Lea isn't officially the leader but she's so attentive & protective my HEART. Oh! and I was so impressed by Jinny's rapping & songwriting, Dita's charming low voice, and Denise's powerful main vocals shining! (and Soodam's cuteness, what a cutie)

  • Aug 2, for the past 2 days i have really been enjoying Hyori's Bed & Breakfast. It's one of the most relaxing shows I've ever watched. Hyori, Sangsoon, and IU are all super sweet and the guests are all nice and even helpful around the house. All the dogs and cats are super cute too (and I think all the guests really loved having them around. Some of the cats would sleep by the guests. And chubby Sam-Sik, which all the guests think she is pregnant lol) Now I'm reading what happened afterwards, like people trespassing on their property & ringing the doorbell constantly which is awful. They had such a nice and peaceful life and people had to go and ruin it (though apparently they had trouble before the show started as well). That makes me super sad, but I also enjoy watching the show a lot. catch 22 :(

  • PRACTICE:
  • writing melodies with pentatonic scale (all scale degrees except for 4 and 7) over various chord progressions. Use midi if possible.
  • look up chords to songs and figure out what key it's in
  • incorporating NCTS (non-chord tones) like passing tones, appogiaturas, escape tones, suspensions into your melodies. Also remember usually have no ncts in beginning and end of song (usually)
  • use the 16th note rhythm dictation to practice figuring out what the rhythm of songs are.
