  • assuming everyone who is disabled is on disability/ssi
    • assuming it is easy to GET disability/ssi
    • assuming disability/ssi is enough to live on
  • thinking that disability only means physically disabled
  • thinking that mental disabilities aren't as bad as physical ones
  • the things that aren't considered disabilities that should be
  • "i push through my problems and do things bc they have to be done." good for you. most people can't.
  • assuming young people can't be disabled
  • assuming everyone has a smartphone
  • assuming everyone has streaming services instead of cable
  • assuming everyone who lives with their parents is either just a mooch or is just doing so until they "get back on their feet"
  • assuming everyone has been to college at some point
  • shushing autistic&adhd people/telling them to be quiet/stop talking so much
  • capitalism in general
  • assuming everyone has a credit card/doesn't use cash anymore
  • thinking that spanking children isn't abusive, doesn't cause behavioral problems, isn't traumatizing, and just doesn't negatively affect them at all
  • making fun of/pointing out personal hygiene issues
  • "kids have too much screen time"
  • the whole minimum wage argument
  • the fact that basic human needs cost money at all
  • "just do it and get it over with"
  • the idea of needing to have a job
