• (i'm childfree, but) i'd seriously rather my child "act up," throw tantrums (in public or otherwise), be a "brat" and grow up to hate me because i DIDN'T do something than because i DID do it (spanking, yelling, grounding/taking things away/being restrictive, telling them no all the time, etc). and any parent that doesn't believe this, has no right to be a fucking parent. end of story. no ifs ands or buts about it. not sorry.
• there are a lot of days when i think spanking should be considered sexual abuse.
• all diets are inherently ableist for one reason or another. assuming everyone can just eat whatever is good for their health based on medical condition or moral correctness or whatever the hell else, is ableist. mostly when it comes to autistic people. most of us have sensory and texture issues with food. LEAVE. US. ALONE!!!
  • people need to fucking realize that just bc something is unhealthy for them, doesn't mean it's unhealthy for everyone.
  • eating unhealthy food is always better than not eating at all.
• i don't care what your general opinion on ace discourse is, quite frankly i see both sides.
• people are fucking allowed to hate things and they are fucking allowed to talk about it as much as they want. "you're allowed to dislike things, but don't be an asshole about it" NO. it fucking goes both ways. you're allowed to like things, but don't be an asshole about it. "nobody wants to hear you shit on something they love" goes both fucking ways too. nobody wants to hear how much you love something they hate, bc guess fucking what, it's highly likely they dislike it bc it triggers them.
• stop talking about people who aren't animal lovers as if there's something wrong with them or they're somehow not human. i have. a fucking. phobia. im scared of most animals. they give me anxiety.
• calling lesbians/wlw terfs or transphobic, or telling us we're "fake lesbians" bc you know the reason is straight up sexual harassment. none of us are fucking saying trans women aren't women or anything along those lines.
  • and STOP fucking using the term "genital preference." that's NOT at all how this works.
• the day i never have to hear the word "streaming" ever again is the day I'll finally be happy.
