- I get on well with them. I'd hate it if I didn't like my family or they didn't like me
- there's very little drama. Yes it may get boring at times but at least we don't argue 24/7
- my brother is a good listener, is fun to be with and we have a lot in common
- my parents are relatively easy going now but were quite strict when we were kids, which is a good thing because my brother and I learnt from this and grew up to be good people
- my mum's side of the family are the most down-to-earth people you could meet
- there are so many people in my family that I know I could talk to and get some really good advice from (cousin Rachel, Uncle Kevin, Auntie Lorraine, Auntie Clarice, Uncle Vrej)
- and there are many people who are just plain fun! (Auntie Julie, Uncle Mike, Auntie Liz, Taleen)
- they accept me for who I am ... or at least they do a good job pretending to!
- they get on with Matt's family - I'd hate iit if they didn't, that would make things awkward
