This was a big issue. It took us literally forever to figure out what we were going to be. And by the way, we aren't those girls who use Halloween as an excuse to dress up as sluts (note: mario and luigi. Possibly the most un-sexy thing to dress up as.)

• A banana and an apple (Vivienne's [the friend] mother's idea, never took flight)

• Mick Jagger and David Bowie (Fun fact: Did you know that the song "Angie" was rumored to be written about Bowies wife walking in on jagger and bowie gettin freaky?)
• something that involved lederhosen
• Vikings/bavarians
• Teddy and Lucky (our two dogs)
• David Bowie's multiple personas (Ziggy stardust, the thin white duke, king of the goblins, major tom, that really creepy clown...)
• Lewis and Clark
• Sherlock Holmes and Watson
• Barnes and Noble (?)
• something that involved leather pants (OK, that was really just my idea)
• A poncho and a sombrero--mexicans?

• Droogs from A Clockwork Orange (which was immediatly shut down by vivienne)

What did we end up being? Simon and Garfunkel! We won most original (or was it teachers choice/best homemade costume?). I was garfunkel and i had people asking me if i was carrot top. My wig was a slight shade of red. Vivienne said someone asked her if she was jesus, but the person asking was jewish. An excuse? i think so. Also for those of you who are fans of Flight of the Conchords, no, i did not get the opportunity to do any "garfunkeling," although i dont know if i would be entirely opposed to the idea. Just kidding i would.
