We all have our quirks that add to our charm and uniqueness, and we shouldn't be ashamed of it. I just wanted to make a list rambling on about random things about myself. So in the words of Popeye the Sailor Man, "I am what I am and that's all that I am 'cause I am what I am."

• Ethnicity wise I'm Asian Indian but I've never really identified with that. Oddly enough I identify more with Chinese/Taiwanese culture. That's probably why I love TW-dramas and music so much and why I'm proud to say I'm pretty good at Mandarin. After starting to take Mandarin I quickly realized that I was good at it, but also that I loved it a lot and it just "felt right". I'm now planning on, after I transfer schools (which would be after I study abroad in Taiwan next year) to double major not only in business but in Chinese studies as well.
• I'm convinced I have, at the very least, a mild case of OCD. I have random tendencies to knock on wood or tap certain things a few times before I feel relaxed and can leave it alone.
• I don't wear makeup. Ever. At the most I wear some lipgloss, but it's rare if I even do that. I feel comfortable with the way that I look naturally and I don't feel like I need makeup to supplement it. Honestly I actually think I look better without any makeup on.
• It is safe to say I probably love animals more than humans. Or if anything, just as much. I love watching Animal Planet; I watch animal documentaries religiously. I love being at the zoo. When I was younger I wanted to be a zoologist and I still kind of do, but my career path has veered in a slightly different direction for the time being. xD
• It takes me a while to warm up/open up to most people. I don't make friends really quickly, it takes me some time. It took me 3 years in high school to establish a group of friends that I actually liked and enjoyed spending time with. It's not that I didn't have friends before, I just had casual friends. It takes me longer to build close relationships/make close friends.
• I'm a homebody. I would much rather prefer to stay home and watch movies and make popcorn on a Friday night then go out clubbing or partying.
• I love mysteries. Mystery books, shows, you name it. Anything that involves sleuthing, haha. xD I love Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Monk. Any detective-style anything and you can count on me to love it and be a hardcore fan. Plus I love the clothing-style, the hats, trench coats, and the whole shebang.
• I've loved Sailor Moon ever since I was a little girl, 2nd grade to be exact. I sincerely believe that I will love Sailor Moon as long as I live. It may sound silly, but it's a very important part of my life that I will never let go of. She's a big part of my childhood and youth that can't be replaced. Also, I know the Japanese version is technically better, but I'm not going to lie, I have quite a soft spot for the dubbed version. I grew up on the dubbed version and it is always going to have a special place in my heart.
• I love fairytales. Always have, always will. I'm a strong believer that they are possible in our everyday lives, if we are open to the idea.
• I love kiddie movies/TV shows and I don't think I ever will grow out of it. xD
• For some reason or another, ever since I was little, I've always loved movies or tv shows/specials that are about animated mice. I dunno, they're just so cute!
• I'm a hopeless romantic.
• I'm quite eclectic.
