• call kids things like "numbskull" and pretend to act tough but instead coming off as a regular bioootch
• pretend like I didn't take naps even though I did sometimes (because I was a lazy ass and still am XDD)
• try not to trip all over myself and fall in the mud (which I did often)
• ignore my older sister and pretend to be independent around my little friends (and while doing so drove my sister crazy)
• tried not to act like a little know-it-all
• wore my sister's sweatshirts but they were way too big for me and in turn made me look like a complete jackass
• pretend I didn't like certain classically "kiddie" things when of course I really loved them XD (be it shows, toys, etc.)

• get out of wearing turtlenecks because they looked dorky (never really worked 'cause my mom forced them on me as she was afraid I'd freeze to death Dx)
