- they "get" me
- they don't find my overly obsessed fangirling and addiction/interest in asian stuff weird or make fun of me for it, they accept that xDD
- they aren't pushy and annoying
- they're lovable and fun to be around
- I enjoy spending time with them
- they're legitimately funny and share my sense of humor meaning we think the same things are funny
- they never put anyone down and aren't catty like plenty of people who went to high school with us
- they don't look down on other people no matter any differences we may have
- they're awesome. they just are.
- they share in my interest of anime/manga without being psychotically overobsessed or weird like some of the people from our hallway in high school
- they also read fanfiction to fill the void xDD
- they have the common courtesy/respect people should automatically show which a LOT of people lack nowadays but they don't
- they know how to compromise and aren't like other people who only like it when things go "their" way
- we can sit around for hours doing absolutely nothing and have a great time
- we share many mutual understandings that are hard to find; fangirling being an example
- they don't judge maliciously
- they understand that certain things I say are said in humor and not out of sheer bitchiness
- they swear and don't freak out at it when someone else swears
- they respect differences between our friends (I think I said something like this but whatever)
- I can trust them and feel like I could share personal things/problems with them
- they listen to me even at times when I should have shut up long ago
- they don't just "uh huh" me and pretend that they are listening
- they are wonderfully random and appreciate the occasional weirdness/weird outbursts
- they aren't druggies and considering the high school we went to this is a rarity xDD
- they aren't superficial or shallow, they are the exact opposite
- they get pop culture references, even the obscure ones - this is ridiculously awesome to find in people! xDD
- they don't think it is weird that I like cartoons from the 90's or cheezy movies like George of the Jungle
- they are very understanding and kind and don't hold grudges and aren't petty nor do they get mad about stupid little things
- I like the group of friends I've established this year the best. I feel like throughout high school I didn't have a real tightknit/close group of friends until my senior year.
