so, throughout the HSC year, i was living under a rock, and had no idea of any new music/films, etc. etc. things that were going on, etc. etc., events in sydney, etc. etc. i just went through liveguide and these are some gigs i found which i would go to if i was a millionaire, and if a majority of them weren't over 18s.
- Maximo Park (13th November): Nay. Brings back too many bad memories.
- Vampire Weekend (21st November): Nay. Oxford Arts Factory is always over 18s! Grr!
- Homebake (5th December): Nay. They decided to make it over 18s.
- Jarvis Cocker (7th December): Nay. Sold out :(
- Fleetwood Mac (7th & 8th December): Nay. I didn't have $200, plus crappy seats were left, and Stevie Nicks ruined her voice with 'Gold Dust' anyway :(
- Patrick Wolf (9th December): Nay. Over 18s. Metro Theatre, you suck now. That's all I have to say.
- Animal Collective (11th December): Nay. I decided against going for some reason..
- Andrew Bird (3rd January): I would love to go, but i have to go with Nay.
- White Rabbits (5th January): Nay. Oxford Arts Factory, again.
- Editors (6th January): Nay. Over 18s again :(
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs (8th January): Yay!!! Fuck yes! Cannot wait!
- Neko Case & Grizzly Bear & Laura Marling & Grizzly Bear + The Middle East & Camera Obscura (11th January - 28th January for Sydney Festival): Nay :'( Couldn't get tickets/Over 18s.
- Big Day Out (22nd January): Yay!
- Yo La Tengo (18th Feburary): Nay. Fuck you Metro Theatre, this is a day before I turn 18, why is Yo La Tengo over 18s!!! >:(
- Soundwave Festival (21st February): Nay. Already seen most of the bands. Only want to see Placebo.
- Placebo (24th February): Maybe. Lot's of pros and cons. Their new album sucks.
- Pavement (4th & 5th March): Maybe. If I can find someone to go with.
- Pixies (14th - 16th March): 3rd show sounds very tempting. And if I find somebody to go with.
- The Dead Weather (26th March): Jack White AND Alisson Mosshart sound very tempting, but it's $87, will have to go with Nay, i think.
