- I like reading words backward.
- I sit on the edge of my seat or lean on one side unless I want to practice good posture.
- I chew the insides of my cheeks, especially when bored or idle.
- I pick at my lips.
- I lick my lips often. They get chapped because of this which only makes me lick them more.
- I look up the meaning of names, especially of fictional characters.
- I pile my dirty clothes on the back of my swivel chair.
- I sigh when I talk for an extended period of time. Talking wears me out.
- I take note of amusing things people say.
- I laugh to myself sporadically.
- I save "junk" and scraps of paper, making me a major packrat. I have trouble throwing things away.
- I correct misspelled words.
- I borrow bits of other people's handwriting.
- I rewrite things until my handwriting satisfies me.
- I hum tunes that my sister unintentionally implants in my head.
- I walk like I am in a hurry. Sometimes I nearly run into people.
- I cover the toilet seat before sitting on it.
- I wipe my mouth with a napkin after every other bite.
- I crack just about every part of my body: knuckles, wrists, neck, shoulders, back, ankles, toes.
- I make sound effects with my mouth.
- I sit on my hands.
