- Francesca Lia Block is my most favorite writer. No one really knows of her, but that's ok- I almost like it better that way. It's like I've discovered her! I found one of her books, The Rose and the Beast, on Valentines day when school was for a snow day and it remains my favorite book ever!
- I have this thing about my mouth feeling clean- I brush after every meal
- I love banana nut bread and muffins.
- My poetry has been published 4 times
- Pride & Prejudice, Whip It, and Inception are my favorite movies because I consistently get excited every time I watch them
- not a huge fan of pets- they get fur on everything. I def would opt for a turtle or a pet rock or something
- one of the happiest feelings I've known is when I dance by myself in the studio or in front of a crowd
- I write in journals- I'm almost done with my 20th. I started in 5th grade when an author named Jack Gantos came to our school and showed us his journals and he inspired me.
- I cannot wait to have my own house- because then I can actually have an excuse to buy all the cute dishware and pillows and things in anthropologie
- my grandma always tells this story about me: when I was in kindergarten, one of the teachers, Miss Kitty, was retiring. All the children were asked to draw what they would give to Miss Kitty is they could give her anything at all. I drew her a pair of glass slippers and to this day, Miss Kitty has my drawing hanging in her house.
- my dad works at the preppy private school I went to. And it made my high school experience ten times better.
- I used to make cards for my friends on their birthdays- with obese unicorns on them
- on one of the worst nights of my life, one my best friends gave me a book called girlosophy- and it saved me. the advice from that book came was perfect
- 27 Dresses is the quintessential romantic comedy. "I feel like I just found out my favorite love song was about a sandwich"
- I bought that Ingrid Michaelson CD in New York last year with my dad. she's now my favorite songstress and the Virgin Record store I got it from is now closed.
- I wish things were simpler- walking everywhere, talking to people face to face. Everything would feel so much more..organic.
- tarot cards are wonderful- as one of my friends say "they're good, not necessarily for predicting the future, but for giving you a new persepctive". I love the illustrations on them
- Pablo Neruda, Walt Whitman, and Galway Kinnell are my poet-heroes.
- Hercules was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Something about him just pushpins my heart- he's just so naive.
- I am really pale. and my hands are generally cold. I'm like a vampire as my sisters joke
- I'm sort of insomniatic. I've always had sleeping problems, even as a kid. But the issue got exponentially worst in middle school. now I just deal with it.
