• 1 | this time in my life, i'm working as a support analyst in cybersecurity but i'm already trying to get a new job for better salary though i still love my job, some people are quite toxic which frustrate me the most; also received most awaited ciento cookies & it didn't live up to expectations, not worth it but brother loved it
• 2 | received my first ever bookshelf, started planning on how to make my bedroom pretty, i want to paint one wall sage green
• 3 | mama & brother helped me assemble my bookshelf, rearrange my desk & closet, cleaned my room; ramen (our dog) got better & started eating again after getting parvo, also removed his dextrose
• 4 | easily worst day of the yr; got a massage w/ rica then ate samgyup, checked out paints at ace hardware; around 9pm papa's friends' frantic knocks alerted us saying papa is having a mild stroke, immediately brought him to the hospital but he went back home because his insurance wouldn't cover the cost since he was drunk, i was honestly so mad because the only reasons i am saving are for emergency purposes in case someone gets hospitalize or to buy a new house but he still doesn't want to spend money :( we all didn't sleep all night
• 5 | papa & mama went to the hospital and doctor prescribed medicine for stroke and high blood pressure but i think papa is in denial and wants second opinion because only his left hand is numb but everything is okay with him; a massage therapist went to our house at night to massage papa; he immediately felt good thankfully
• 6 | parents went back to the hospital for lab tests; papa finally drunk the prescribed medicine & his blood pressure went down a bit; got a meeting at 9pm ugh
• 7 | went grocery shopping w/ mama, ate siomai rice & buko juice; got an interview with a new company but they cancelled; did upwork
• 8 | parentals went back to the hospital; doctor confirmed it was just due to high cholesterol levels tho he still needs to get a few tests done; played with ramen; tried to read books; packed my bag for bday trip to elyu
• 9 | travelled almost 8 hours to elyu; bus broke down; ac broke down; was so tired but ate at a resort upon arrival and got a few cocktails; for the first time this yr i slept so well that night
• 10 | my bday! went to get good coffee & ate grilled cheese + french toast, so yummyyy; hang out on the beach all day; watched the big waves, people watched and had drinks; ate japanese food for dinner; almost a perfect day
• 11 | went out to get coffee; ate so good food and then checked out from the hostel; bought a few souvenirs; travelled back home for almost 8 hours; i was so tired my butt hurts
• 12 | finally got some rest; parentals went to the hospital and they put on a new device on papa to check his blood pressure and heart rate for 24hrs; they'll be back again tomorrow; had an initial interview and felt good about it
• 13 | rested in bed all day; finally reinstalled mobile legends bc i was so bored; checked out some sailpoint trainings
• 14 | finally back to work & i realized i was supposed to go back yesterday but i didn't, mngr didn't say a word so i let it be; worked all day trying to catch up on my tasks; received good news that i passed my interview and will be scheduling for technical interview with the hiring manager next; ate so many airfried fries i was almost puking; payday came early
• 15 | worked literally all day from 7am to 7pm; mama brought me sandwich bc i was so busy i ate it in front of my computer; lil bro played mobile legends on my phone
• 16 | worked all day again; received my annual increase 6.60% which is meh, inflation is at 8%; also got my annual bonus which is 120% but still meh; i really hope to get hired as a security engineer to double my income
• 17 | papa had a massage therapy;
• 18 | laid in bed all day; watched young sheldon; played mobile games
• 19 | rto, met w/ new vp; i love talking w/ my teammates but the commute almost killed me; shopped at watson & bought llaollao icecream yogurt w/ jenny after work
• 20 | rto again, 1on1 w/ new vp; ate w/ workmates; bought 1 liter coffee & bread w/ jenny; had mango shake w/ mama
• 21 | technical interview went well even tho my computer crashed at the end of it, the hiring manager was very understanding
• 22 | worked all day from 7am then had a meeting at 8pm; watched young sheldon while working; played mobile games; read stuffs; mama bought tteokbokki at the market and it tasted horrible; mango shake
• 23 | worked all day from 7am to 6pm; started watching the last airbender series; mama cooked spaghetti; i tried to cook chili oil pasta but it just tasted oil meh
• 24 | took some sailpoint trainings; played mobile games; tried to finish the book i was reading; played more games
• 25 | woke up at down to get ready for vigan trip; met a new friend who drove us to vigan; visited hidden garden, baluarte, calle crisologo and ate empanada; watched dancing fountain show at vigan plaza; swam in the hotel pool; drank and talk non stop
• 26 | breakfast amian cafe; ash treated us dirty icecream; bough empanada again for pasalubong; ate sinanglao at this local place, soo yummy; head out to elyu; got coffee at el union & coco mama; watched the sunset; checked out the night market; bought bbq & drinks; talked non stop until 2am
• 27 | breakfast at el union; watched the sea; ate at this local chinese place & got home; it was a super fun trip <3
• 28 | passed my final interview as a security engineer
• 29 | hr told me they are preparing my offer, sent them my current offer details, had many calls about the offer
