- Inside jokes. Because people always tell you about theirs and expect you to think it's super funny.
- The fact that it seems like every book is being turned into a movie nowadays.
- Walking in grass barefoot.
- Bad design choices.
- When an article has a really bad headline.
- Guys in untailored suits. My only fashion pet peeve.
- When animals get hurt / die in movies.
- 95% of teen novels.
- I have such a soft spot for YA lit, because I believe it can be so much better than John Green worship, hetero romance and dystopian novels that have no point.
- Streets without bike lanes.
- People who chew gum / food like cows. (Bonus points if you can hear the saliva in their mouth. Barf.)
- When a guy calls me dude, bro, man, etc. especially if we're not close.
- People who bring acoustic guitars to school to look cool.
- People who decide they don't like something although they've never tried it.
- People who are chronically late and make no effort to fix it.
- Styrofoam.
- Jeans without pockets.
- People who care way too much about what other people do.
- People who don't even know you when they call you darling, hun, sweetie, etc. especially when you're arguing with them.
- When people on the internet think they're being the bigger person, just because they're using overly formal language.
- People who say that they're "fluent in sarcasm". omg you're sooo witty and clever! Why can't I be a sly fox like you?!?
- People who say "I'm ashamed to be a part of the human race." You know what? You're right. You'd be better off as a plant, maybe even a rock.
- Mosh pits. people complain about shows where the crowd looks apathetic, but I prefer that to a show where I could get injured.
- People who don't read books (and are proud of it)
- When people talk during movies / shows.
- Getting into fights on Facebook. Never worth it.
- Those signs in people's houses that say "live, laugh, love". Kill me.
- Those super bold Instagram eyebrows that are popular right now. I guess I prefer a more natural look.
- Girls who insist that they're different from other girls.
- People who say crap like "journalism is a dying field!!1", even though they know nothing about it.
- The fact that liberal arts / communications is crapped on all the time, and the romanticization of STEM majors.
- When people only do stuff because it makes them look like a good person.
- People who think they'll survive in a zombie apocalypse because they watched Zombieland and played COD. Actually, people who are obsessed with zombie apocalypses because wtf.
- The meat industry.
- Vegetarians / vegans who don't understand that their diet is a privilege, and that not everyone can be veg.
- Leather seats. They are the worst in the summer time. I don't get the big deal.
- People who think steak and bacon are the pinnacle of food.
- People overly obsessed with hot sauce.
- When people don't leave me alone after the first ten minutes of being awake.
- People who overshare on social media or irl.
- Men who have no personality outside of beards, bacon and parody-levels of masculinity.
- People who take or touch my food without asking.
- Being sick.
- people who hate cell phones and think they make us stupid. Fuck off.
- White people who talk about their racist relatives / friends in some weird attempt at Solidarity
- People who are genuinely not interested in enriching themselves.
- How most history classes only show one side of an event / portray the US as this mythologized land of beauty and equality.
- Commercialism, capitalism, conventionalism, materialism and conformity.
- Sex-shaming / body-policing / girl hate.
- People who comment on what you are eating and say "That's not healthy." I don't care.
- Rape culture.
- Racism / sexism / classism / ableism / transphobia.
- The American school system.
- Certain aspects of mainstream culture.
- Any celebrity whose persona is how quirky and relatable they are.
- People who pretend to like things to look cool and act like they're experts on the subject, but don't know the first thing about it.
- Being forced to be around people for long periods of time.
- Generalizations, cliches and stereotypes.
- Big egos.
- Disrespect.
- Arguing.
