- i cut my bangs last night, because i was so tired of them. it actually didn't go as badly as i had feared and today, my parents both said that i look like my favourite aunt :)
- i really want to attend midnight mass this christmas eve, instead of my church's christmas party. or a candlelight service, even.
- i am officially done with my psych ia, history ia and world lit papers. breathe.
- it'll very soon be christmas! :)
- but first, christmas break--i will sleep lots.
- i think i'm baking pavlova as a belated birthday present to a friend.
- i wrote a poem/drabble last night. i'm actually quite happy with it, except for the physical structure and the syntax. and it's actually a little pretentious with the indentations and hyphens and parentheses. i need to edit it.
- i am really rather fascinated by reversal film. but getting prints from slides are a bit too expensive.
- i've really been missing theory of knowledge.
- i made a cat snowflake. :)
- every time i bake shortbread, i swear to never again. yet here i am.
- my outfit was like something from the 1890s. and my sister actually told me that i looked like i was from a little women cast. but the two most lovely people told me repeatedly how they appreciated it and the trench coat and old things in general. and it made me just so happy. :)
- i had such an adventure on my first night of christmas break!
- i like to pour glasses of dark fruit juice and pretend i'm drinking wine.
- i'm determined to see a ballet or some other 'high-culture' concert while i'm in hong kong this summer. it seems that most venues offer a significant discount for full-time students, too, so my hopes are rather high! assuming that my student id from the states qualifies.
- overall, though, i'm a little upset at having to go to hk again. instead of somewhere more interesting and new to me. i don't know. this may have more to do with relatives being concerned with my being out and about in the city. i shouldn't complain so much. i still have to buy the plane tickets.
- what do i do with good news i cannot tell anyone?
- i can't quite stand the sound of my recorded voice. or maybe just the sound of my own voice, i don't know.
- my father has good taste in scarves. these are old, yet still wonderfully warm! he just has good taste in clothes.
- i just finished watching 'miracle on 34th street'. and now i'm watching 'a charlie brown christmas' on hulu. :) i love christmas movies.
