• There are a lot of Dunkin Donuts in Rhode Island. They're pretty damn frequent. But it's okay because we like our breakfast sangwiches and iced coffees and the occasional donut.
• Taking a nap on the beach is real real nice.

• People get so into 4th o jew lie up here. There's a parade in Bristol that's been going on for like 100 years or something and everyone is obsessed with it and the traffic is craaaazy.
• Kate and I took a walk down the beach today, waaay down, as far as we could go, and we found a little boat on the sand with an old weathered copy of Kerouac's On the Road in it, flappin around in the wind. That was the book I brought with me to read on the beach.
• "My Eyes Won't Shut" by Port O'Brien is a wonderful song and has been on repeat for quite some time, today and yesterday, at least.
