• ￫ His art is becoming more refined, but lacks impact (somehow). For example, I know that aido's burned face in junji's old style drawing would have scared me shitless, but now it just looks creepy and that's it. I don't like Tomie's "new look" either.
• ￫ I re-read Travelogue/Sensor and I enjoyed it more than the first time I read it. I like the idea of Kyoko/Aido "battle" as light vs darkness and I'm even surprised at the hopeful ending note (... still there are some things that I don't understand... god really exists? what kyoko is exactly? so aido is... the universe?)Oh, and now I had a weird headcanon where Yukio transformed in the eating planet thing called remina (yep)
• ￫ I can't believe how weak Ito's adaptation of How love came to... is, like... for real. The original story was junji ito style already, so I don't why he did that (the horny ghost tho lmao)
• ￫ February, 2022. Dear diary... is Ito into christianity lately? I see it as a recurrent theme in some of his stories (sensor, how love came to kirita, the witch...)
