- I put closed captioning on during movies.
- I savagely gnaw on my lower lip.
- I only save the red ones last for skittles because I save the blue ones last for smarties. Then I pretend I'm a pterodactyl eating robin's eggs. (At least, I did when I was a kid. Funnily, I love robins - they're my favourite bird.)
- I'm only scared of the dark when I'm inside.
- I hate going under water, especially if it gets in my ears or nose.
- When I'm relaxed & happy, I'm likely to fall asleep no matter what I'm doing or who I'm with.
- I eat lots of food at my friend's houses - more than at home.
- I used to get made fun of for having only one dimple.
- I like to say "Rawr" or "Roar".

- Spoken to him, though my gut said not to.
- Gone to his house to give him a say in the matter.
- Cried over him. Again and again.
- Ever been like him.
- Given him another chance.
- Given into his personality, making it my own, and then effectively ruining the relationship with a guy who I may always love... BECAUSE I was too much like the previous abusive jerk.
- Donated all of my old clothes because they reminded me of him, and not because I wanted to give back.

- Open communication. I may be good with intuition, and / or I may understand you very well; but I'd rather talk things out and be sure of my instincts than have to run off things that could very well just be ideas. I need someone who is perfectly fine with just talking things out, without judging me or feeling annoyed by it - and, more to the point, understands that I need this in order to be confident with my ability to deal with things again. Who knows that, by holding back because talking about it might get me to "explode" or will break me more, they are doing something very wrong, something that is very hurtful and negative to me. (Basically, talking about things will help me get better) I need someone who will also ask ME questions if they aren't sure.
- Who understands that talking about things will help me get better. (I need to writ...

- Xena from Xena: Warrior Princess
- When I was young, I had a best friend named Emily. She loved the show Xena: Warrior Princess , and loved to play pretend that we were the characters - she always wanted to be Gabrielle, so I was pushed into the role of Xena. Got to say, though, the woman grew on me... I've been rewatching the series recently, and rediscovering my idolization of her. The best part? She's my ideal of a good person: Someone who has done bad things, but accepts herself and tries to atone for them. That is strength to me.
- Pocahontas from Pocahontas
- There's a reason that I decided to make it the movie that reminded me of Dav ;) She is noble, peaceful, passionate and wise... not to mention her vibrant connection to nature itself! She's the most dignifi...

- Attractive (to me)
- Maybe a little romantic...
- Someone I can trust entirely
- Laid back
- Hygiene, please
- My cat has to like you - she's the only person / animal whose judgement matters; she is a damn good judge of character, too. If she doesn't like you, I'd probably kick you out. (Though you get more than one shot – she can take a few tries to warm up to someone)
- A good sense of humour - I don't laugh nearly as much as other people, and I need to start laughing sometimes. Did you know that laughter actually reduces stress?
- Not over-protective (I have enough of that, too!)
- Loves me for me
- Honesty - no lying, unless it's to protect me (and even then, I might have trouble...

Nowadays, I mostly avoid having idols. I've found that, with a mindset like mine, having an idol can easily sway me from cultivating my individuality. But that doesn't stop me from having a few!
- Rei Hino / Sailor Mars
- Ah, here we go again. I'd grown out of Sailor Moon by sometime in Grade 10, but my friend Teija brought me back to it. How? She assigned each of her best friends a Sailor Scout, and I was Mars. At first, I was really surprised by this choice - mainly because I'd focused for so long on Venus, and was starting to think of Neptune as "the ideal" for a guy I had feelings for (and was trying to be like her. Mistake!) But I'll never forget what Teija always tells me about my "Mars connection": "You're so committed to things, especially your friends. You are the most passion...

- Arrogance. In ANYONE. Number One cause of friendship or love relationship ruining in my book.
- People who look down on ANYONE at all, including (but not limited to) their best friends, family members, and even sometimes their own enemies. (This is the same as arrogance - but I felt it had to be put down twice)
- People who live their life according to religion and use it to judge other people. I haven't met a lot of people that are genuinely like that, though I know many who are religious - but the rare person that is makes me sick.
- Two-faced behaviour; people who are friendly to you and talk to you when they secretly hate you.
- I hate it when people do not think critically and do not gather all the facts about a situation before judging someone.
