• if you feel like you want out of the relationship, for god's sake, just tell her. don't carry it on to spare her feelings. because it doesn't.
• do it quickly, and be polite.
• no matter how casual the situation is, let her know if you're moving on to someone else. it'll be worse if she finds out some other way.
• let her get mad, let her cry, and give her the space she needs to move on.
• be respectful. unless she's keying your car and hanging dead fish in your curtains, you don't get to to talk shit.
• don't avoid her when you see her somewhere afterwards. a friendly wave and a 'hey, how are you doing?' works wonders.
• think about it...is it really a good idea to hook up with someone new near where she works or hangs out? just...no. don't do it.
