• breathe, and I mean really breathe. Feel your lungs filling up and feel your ribcage expanding, and then breathe out and let all your worries go
  • take a bath, put in some tea tree drops, bring a book for company, don't bring your phone
  • write about how you are feeling, however ill-written, express yourself
  • don't close yourself off too much from those you love. Don't be alone for too long, don't let yourself get worse
  • drink water, gulp it down, a nice cool glass, be refreshed
  • go easy on yourself. Don't say 'Why am I like this, why can't I be better'. You are human, you are fragile, you do not need to feel bad for feeling this way, accept yourself
  • get into bed, and escape into a book for a while. Everyone needs a break from reality sometimes
