saved me from constant headaches and cramming (as long as you have the initiative to match it.) especially useful when you're crunching deadlines—after an adjustment period.

Extensity

• leaving a lot of extensions active eats up space—this extension targets that problem.
• it creates a little widget with a list of extensions to toggle on and off with ease.

note: to have an extension appear in the pinned bar immediately after you toggle it on, do not remove it from pinned list on the extension icon (puzzle-shaped.)

Black Menu for Google

• having too many tabs open just to check on google apps takes too much time and clutters your chrome window.
• when pinned, it creates a widget with a list of google apps you can switch to and fro from—all within the widget itself.
• list of google apps is customizable.
• can switch to other accounts

Dark Reader

• saves your eyes from getting absolutely fucked.
• adjustable + customizable
• you can whitelist or blacklist websites.

note: may change layout colors of extensions that display on the sidebar.

Iridium for Youtube

• a fuck ton of features. just see for yourself.

Mercury Reader

• layouts of new sites can get very overwhelming. simplify them.
• adjustable + with kindle export option
• optimized for printing.

Bookmark Sidebar

• manage your bookmarks without leaving your tab.
• customizable + options for separators

note: wait for the site to finish loading before you open it.

Weava Highlighter

• I use it alongside Super Simple Highlighter and NotesAlong because 10 colors isn't enough for me. (not really all that important, just a matter of preference.)
• folder function is a lifesaver.
• the most organized of the three i use?

NotesAlong

• tagging do be the superior method of organization, though.
• link sharing helps if you want your teammates to review material for a paper collab. (though it requires for the to have the extension, obv.)
• would be nice if it had customizable colors.

Super Simple Highlighter

• unlimited color options
• for highlights with no need for notes/annotations.

note: make a shortcut for one color and just adjust afterwards. right-clicking is tiring.

The Great Suspender

• for when you get caught up with research/casual browsing and end up with a ungodly amount of tabs.
• w/ the option to whitelist & automatically exclude tabs (playing audio/video & inputs) from suspension.

note: use w/ a tab saver extension.

Session Buddy

• for managing tabs
• backs up and saves unused tabs.
• recovers tabs from crashes.

Volume Master

• for unusual cases where videos aren't loud enough
