• 25O225 - i read The Age of Innocence and felt sad, but at the same time, grateful to have met a character like archer, someone i identified with 100%. a man who wants so much in life but doesn’t have the courage to step out of his comfort zone… it’s so deep that i feel like i need to read this book multiple times. in the end, i’ll lose my life dreaming, just like he did throughout the entire book. it was because of this book that i realized i can’t keep trying to be in relationships with men, so i ended mine. i’ve told myself a thousand times that i don’t like men, but i keep forcing myself to be something i’m not just to please my family. i hope i have the courage to be with a woman in the future and not end up like archer.
