Step 1: De-clutter

• Purge all clothing. Aim to sell + donate 30 items.
• Purge electricals. Check-in odd draws, see what works, what you want, and what spare cables you have. Donate + sell.
• Purge books. Donate the read and unwanted.
• Purge your desks, drawers, and shelves. Get rid of old pens, donate unused notepads, and gift unwanted treasures.

I have transitioned somethings over to a low waste lifestyle slowly over the course of about a year, as I have slowly gotten into the movement. This includes:

• Mainly only second-hand clothing (Some exclusions to the rule)
• Buy all fresh food without plastic wrap (infrequently buy fresh produce with unrecyclable aspects)
• Storage staples plastic-free, and often organic (Lentils, pasta, oats)
• Getting more into gardening and foraging!
• Shampoo/conditioner bars (Lush)
• Zero waste Soap (Ecotopia)
• Reusable water bottle only. (Not bought a bottle for a year)
