If i owned my very own Zoo it would look like this...
- 20 Koala bears - They live in a HUGE enclosure full of eucolyptus trees. They are super super happy. Except for Clive. He's the grumpus of the group.
- 6 African Elephants - Named Jeremy, Helen, Stuart, Bethany, Alexander & Susan. They live in the biggest enclosure at my zoo, it contains a lake, a small forested area & a huuuge shack where they sleep at night time.
- 25 Giraffes - All of which are named 'fitzfluffabump'. They're all paired off. Except for fitzfluffabump 7. He's gay. Currently awaiting the delivery of another gay giraffe. They are super fussy with what they like to eat. Their most favourite are the 'Box Elder Maple' leaves.
- A pack of wolves - Live in 'wolf wood'. They are very protective of their young. Feel free to drive through but dont honk your horn as they don't like this. They all like to gather on wolf hill, a perfect place for you to see them.
- 1 Hippo - Her name is Cynthia. She's overweight & once ate 3 guinea pigs that lived in the neighbouring enclosure. She's super moody & smelly which is why she lives on her own.
- 10-15 Tapirs - Have the run of one of my Zoo's largest fields. You can feed them if you like (The zoo holds no responsability for loss of fingers).
- 4 leapards - Stroppy. Sneezy. Smelly & Scott. The enclosure they live in keeps them very active & fit. They have lots of platforms to climb on & over. These platforms sometimes contain little treats... like half an antelope.
- Group of Lemurs - You can walk through this enclosure & they'll come up close to you, perfect for photo opportunities.
- Flamingos - Have set up home in 'blue lagoon'. Theres usually around 30 of them. Sometimes more, sometimes less, they like to hide so i can never be sure.
- Penguins - Found on pengiun island. Accesible via the penguin shaped boat. Theres lots of them & they love having people visit. They have lots of water to swim in & lots of fishies to eat.
- 2 pandas - This panda couple have had 4 panda pups whilst at my zoo. All of which have been relocated to help with the national breeding programme etc etc. Their enclosure contains a small shallow lake, lots of bamboo & a nesting area. These are super cute & are their enclosure is one of the most popular i have.
- 3 Bottle nose Dolphins - Situated near the sealions in the biggest pool we have at the zoo. These dolphins are the best of friends & love to have an audience to watch them do tricks.
- Anteater - Currently only have one of these due to lack of space. These loves ants & other small insects. They love people.
- A Pack of Lions - Our female lions have recently given birth to the most adorable cubs! You can watch all their daily activities from the viewing point suspended over their enclosure. They love fresh meat. We make them work for it though, hiding it in trees within the enclosure etc. Look out for Paul, the alpha lion, he has an almighty rooooar.
- Sealions - Found in the huge pools in the center of the zoo. A walkway is available so you can go underground & see them swim all around you. They like to eat fish. Watch the keepers feed them between 13:00 & 14:30.
Other bits about my Zoo
- There is a large elephant sculpted hedge on entrance to the zoo.
- A land train! This will take you round the whole zoo.
- The coffee shop on site sells giraffe shaped biscuits. cheeky monkey milkshakes and Panda pops.
- There is a Go Ape play area.
