- Mr. Clean
- My first fish. He was an algae eater. I don't know how he died, but I remember my dad trying to feed him green beans to make him better. I loved that ugly guy.
- Babbs
- She was a homing pigeon. We had a huge coop in our backyard, and about 25 pigeons, but she was my personal bird. She had feathered feet, and a feathered crown, and was peach and white colored. She was beautiful, and so sweet, and would sit on my shoulder while I walked around outside. She got eaten by a police man's dalmation that ransacked the cage and killed almost all of our birds. =( That was the end of that.
- Blanco
- Cute, little white guinea pig. She was stinky.
- Lua (Named after a Bright Eyes Song)
- She was a honey bear hamster. I loved her more than anyone should ever love a hamster, haha. She lived for well over 2 years, which is past their life expectancy. She had a lump in her side, and I still think it was a tumor. I almost took her to the Vet over it, but everybody talked me out of it because they thought that was ridiculous. I buried her in a peaches and cream oatmeal box in the backyard of my first apartment. I cried a lot.
- Oberst (Named after Conor Oberst. Front man of Bright Eyes)
- He was a purebred Mini Rex rabbit. He was pure black and velvety soft. He was good company while Evan was in Iraq. I was a little less lonely with Oberst around. I also ate more vegetables, because he liked them. I had to give him back to the pet store after I had him for about a year because he couldn't move with us to our new apartment.
- Luca (Named after a Brand New song)
- She's my purebred West Highland Terrier. Evan got her for me for my 21st birthday, and she's the first dog I have ever had. I love her so much. I never thought it was possible to love an animal as much as you can love a dog, but it is. She's sooo smart and sweet and beautiful and precious and I could go on and on and on. She's snoring right now, and it's really cute.... <3
