clamshell wax melts:

• hypnotic poison
  • cold sniff: faintly smells of the perfume
  • cure time: none, melted immediately after receipt
  • melted: 1 cube
  • upon melting: smells very much of the perfume; very similar to the original
  • throw: medium to strong; doesn't make my whole room smell but is stronger than most single tarts
• maggie:
  • cold sniff: roses
  • cure time: 2 mths? jan 2016
  • melted: 2 cubes
  • upon melting: roses and powder, slightly fresh, not very cloying
  • throw: strong;a little overpowering, i could've used one cube
• vanilla fig:
  • cold sniff: vanilla and fig, i guess. it's not an earthy fig, which i am most familiar...possibly a green fig?
  • cure time: 3 mths? feb 2016
  • melted: 2 cubes
  • upon melting: slight fig and very cloying vanilla; the cloying factor is not just an overabundance of sweetness but also a vague unpleasant smell, possibly plastic-y. maybe it needed to cure longer?
  • throw: strong but not overbearingly so; smell lasted forever
