• dialogue practice, pick a scene from a film / series you enjoy and transfer them to text (alternative: find a song you like and try to transcribe it into a conversation!). ✎ ꒰⠀5/5⠀꒱
• reading assignment: read a (short) romance and try to understand how the author builds tension and conveys emotions. ✎ ꒰⠀1/1⠀꒱

✦ second week: overcoming shyness!

• set a timer for 15 minutes and write without stopping or editing. this helps overcome perfectionism. ✎ ꒰⠀7/7⠀꒱
• write a romantic scene for your eyes only. this removes the pressure of sharing it and allows you to experiment freely. ✎ ꒰⠀5/5⠀꒱
• write about your feelings and thoughts regarding writing romantic scenes. identify specific challenges and possible solutions. ✎ ꒰⠀5/5⠀꒱
• imagine the romantic scene vividly before writing. visualization can help alleviate shyness. ✎ ꒰⠀7/7⠀꒱
• share a non-romantic scene with a trusted friend or writing group. gradually ease into sharing your work. ✎ ꒰⠀3/3⠀꒱

✦ third week: skill development!

• experiment with different words to convey emotions. create a list of alternative words for common emotions. ✎ ꒰⠀0/7⠀꒱

✦ fourth week: final refinement!

• edit a piece from the second week. focus on refining language, improving pacing, and enhancing emotional depth. ✎ ꒰⠀0/3⠀꒱
• share a romantic scene with a beta reader. gather constructive feedback to improve further. ✎ ꒰⠀0/3⠀꒱
• implement the feedback received from the beta reader into your writing. ✎ ꒰⠀0/3⠀꒱
