Sadly, I contribute to my generation's growing apathy. But, here are what little political views I do hold.
- I am pro-choice.
- I am tired of the government limiting a woman's right to choose based largely on religious morality.
- I am also upset by birth control restrictions putting women in that situation in the first place.
- I strongly urge the separation of church and state.
- It's quite telling that we have not once had a non-religious president.
- Legalize same-sex marriage.
- Marriage is too institutionalized.
- I am against capital punishment.
- I am for equality of the sexes. This includes:
- equal pay for equal work,
- equal opportunity to obtain said work,
- the eventual election of a female president.
- Evolution and sex education should be taught in schools.
- I believe everyone is entitled to healthcare and a decent education.
- Welfare programs need revision.
- I also need to do my research before I say anything more.
- Legalize marijuana, at least.
- I think it could really help out the economy.
- It would also reduce the amount of people in prison for what I think is a petty crime.
- If alcohol is legal, why not? I feel like alcohol-induced behavior is usually far worse than marijuana-induced behavior.
- There need to be regulations, of course.
