I would:

  • not skimp on college research and apply to more schools. Transferring is a costly hassle, but the more I read about Knox, the more I think it would have been a better fit.
  • defer admission
    • to take a much needed break from school,
    • to earn money toward tuition,
    • and to figure out what I want to do with my life.
  • tell Boardman, "I was born in Florida, thank you very much."
  • go to a few outrageous parties. My high school experience feels incomplete. But I still think alcohol is unnecessary.
  • skip prom junior year so I wouldn't know it is a waste of money and would have no problem going with my friends as seniors.
  • join the yearbook committee. And maybe beat Jepson out as editor.
  • take math studies. Calculus, I hate you.
  • try harder. Being a valedictorian is really not that tough.
  • stay in Art HL???
    • The Biology HL exam was actually quite easy. I'm sure I could have scored a 6 had I studied.
  • not do IB. I don't know . . . For the most part, the teachers alone are worth it.
    • No, I would definitely do IB again.
  • try out for color guard.
  • get the bulk of my CAS hours done in the summer.
  • take the ACT.
  • know and befriend everyone in the IB class of '09.
